1. Interchangeable thread adaptor

The interchangeable thread adaptor is available in metric and imperial thread options, giving you flexibility when changing rifles.

For a compatible rifle with a different muzzle thread, the adaptor can be changed rather than replacing the suppressor. Calibre and model compatibility must still be confirmed; a matching thread alone is not enough.

2. Directional flow system

Directional gas flow ducts are designed to help keep the suppressor securely fitted to the muzzle thread.

A secure, consistent fit supports a repeatable point of impact. This is how the directional flow system contributes to the accuracy benefit described for the Hunter family.

3. Single core

The internal core is made as a single piece, giving the construction greater resistance to vibration and wear.

That durability is particularly relevant in high-use situations, including semi-automatic fire where the selected model is suitable for that application. Check the model-specific Product application ratings.

4. Nickel plated

The suppressor's internal components are nickel plated for greater resistance to corrosion.

This protective finish works inside the suppressor, helping preserve the condition of its internal parts over time. Regular care and maintenance remain important.

1. Two-chamber design

Developed for the HQS Special family, this two-chamber design is intended for larger magnum calibres.

The chambers have distinct roles: the first reduces the gas pressure reaching the front chamber, while the front chamber provides sound reduction. Together, they support reduced recoil and lower sound levels.

2. First chamber reduces recoil

Excess gases are vented through specially designed exhaust ports before they reach the baffles.

This reduces the pressure in the front chamber and is a key part of the design's recoil-reduction effect. It is the first stage of the two-chamber system.

3. Front chamber reduces sound level

The front chamber works with the reduced gas pressure delivered by the first chamber.

With less gas reaching the baffles, this part of the system provides sound reduction while the overall design also helps reduce recoil. See each model's specifications for its stated noise-reduction figure.

4. Replaceable front chamber

Impact & Special Impact

On Impact and Special Impact, the front chamber is replaceable. This is the part of the suppressor where the greatest wear occurs.

Replacing that chamber can extend the suppressor's service life without replacing the whole unit. Contact HQS for model-specific service and replacement options.
